Marina Janković is a PhD student at the Department of Biology and Ecology, University of Novi Sad. Her scientific field of interest is conservation biology. Main focus of her research is related to the status of protected and strictly protected species of hoverflies and evaluation of the areas designated as important for survival of hoverflies in Serbia (Prime Hoverfly Areas – PHA).
