Marija Miličić, PhD

Marija Miličić is a senior researcher at BioSense Institute. In 2017 she obtained her PhD degree in Ecology on Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad. From 2013-2017, she was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological development of Republic of Serbia for PhD students. She is also an associate researcher of multidisciplinary group LIBRe (Laboratory for Integrative Biodiversity Research) working under the Finnish Museum of Natural History – University of Helsinki, dealing with biodiversity informatics, biogeography and conservation biology. Her research interests are focused towards the effects of climate change on ecosystem functioning, species distribution modelling, functional ecology and conservation of species.
