My studies in Bern were dedicated to conservation biology and the ecology of Syrphidae (Diptera). Since then, I have been working in a natural reserve, using the ecological needs of hoverflies to evaluate the habitats of the reserve. In parallel, I have been digitizing and verifying the determination of Swiss museum hoverfly collections for the Swiss Biological Records Centre (CSCF).
