Dr. Laura Likov is a research associate at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. The title of her doctoral thesis is “Fauna of hoverflies (Diptera: Syrphidae) of Greece”. Her scientific interests are focused on taxonomy, faunistic analysis of hoverflies as well as their ecology and conservation. She is the co-author of over 40 assessments for the European Red List of hoverflies. Participate in three ongoing international projects of the European Union: TaxoFly (Taxonomic Resources for EU Pollinator Monitoring Scheme), SPRING (Strengthening Pollinator Recovery through INdicators and monitoring) and Balkan Pollinator Digital Survey (Balkan PolliS)
